We are pleased to see the reports that the ownership dispute between inner Circle and Sports Shield has now been resolved. The appointment of a  liquidator of Sports Shield had further complicated the ownership issues at BWFC.

The speedy resolution with the liquidator of Sports Shield should avoid protracted litigation.

More importantly to BWFC this gives the owners the opportunity to provide a sustainable business plan which will in turn lift the EFL embargo. There is now a time pressure if this important news is going to impact favourably on the club’s immediate football future before the transfer window closes tomorrow.
