I first started following the Whites in 1989, shortly after we had reached the Sherpa Van Trophy Final! Since that time I have seen us play the length and breadth of the country, though sadly never made it over to Europe. I have made many friends through watching Bolton, though probably a few ‘enemies’ as well! I’ve experienced highs and lows just as all of you will have done. I’m really excited that I have been able to join the board of the Bolton Wanderers’ Supporters’ Trust. For me, the idea of the supporters’ trust is to get as many fans as possible involved with having a meaningful say in OUR club and to protect, sustain and grow it for future generations to follow – just as we do. To this end, I will be looking to all fans and supporters’ groups to work alongside the trust and have an input into its decisions and show a unified front for BWFC. I want as many voices as possible to be heard and am looking to make sure the Trust has a visible presence, at the stadium on match days, for fans to put their views forward – whether members or not. If that sounds like something you want to get involved with then do get in touch.
